Shop Staff

Code Welding & Mfg. Inc.  is staffed for quality and growth.  We are supported by experienced leadership and industry recognized qualifications  Our commitment to process, procedures and the final product is evident by our staffing of highly skilled supervisors.  Ongoing training for our supervisors and our personnel are an integral part of our culture.

Welder Certifications

Code Welding & Mfg. Inc. welds to print. We have the technical expertise to weld to several AWS/ASME codes and have set AWS D1.1 as our base line in mild steel. This has lifted the bar as a minimum expectation for the workmanship through Code Welding & Mfg. Inc.  Beyond this minimum requirement, Code has in addition progressed to qualify welders in AWS D1.2, D1.6, D17.1 & TACOM (GCVC).  Other material qualifications in T1/A514, armor and other specialty metals are a part of our skill sets. Code Welding also has a CWI (Certified Weld Inspector) on staff.

Quality Plan Development

Code Welding & Mfg. Inc. has a living Quality Program which continues to provide ongoing ISO 9000 compliance’s.  This Quality Program ( a culture) has significance both to Code Welding and to our current and future customers.  The quality procedures and processes that have been developed have further strengthened us to deliver our mission. Ongoing training and audits allow us to live in this culture of quality.

Job BOSS Software Utilization

Code Welding & Mfg. Inc. has in 2010 implemented, and is currently using many of the fundamental tools of JobBoss such as quoting, job entry, traveler/router, invoicing, purchasing, shipping/receiving, etc.  This will be an excellent tool in regards to increased efficiency as we further utilize other modules.  This shop software tool is extremely valuable for job history purposes and will allow Code Welding to leverage this data for our customers benefit.

Training & Future

Code Welding & Mfg. is committed to “continuous improvement”.   Code Welding is continuing to train and certify in the areas of welding, non-destructive testing and weld inspection as to meet our continuous improvement goals.   Our continued investment in our personnel is a testimony to the quality workmanship that Code Welding expects and continues to deliver to various industries.
